The Gulf of Tonkin was LBJ's reason to escalate the Vietnam war, the most destructive war to American interests. Turns out that LBJ was the architect of the whole thing. Looks like Bush is not alone in making stuff up. From the Maine, which triggered the Spanish American war, all the way up to present day Iraq, it seems that our leaders have a pattern of deceiving the American people. And the people? You think they would know better now? Nope. Same sheep now as they were in 1898.
