Let the hordes of aliens live in their own countries, is the right answer. Why would the government not want to stop the inflow of aliens? Because business wants cheap labor and government wants new tax payers. Neither are goals of mine. | Lived in Oregon and California for 35 years...
Travelled everywhere from Michigan South to Texas and West...
From Mexico to Alaska annd the Yukon hiking and camping.
More importantly, when did you change this from speaking Spanish in school to allowing more immigrants?

But this has nothing to do with American kids reciting the Pledge once a year in a foreign language they've been learning. What do you think about that? You never said.

I think, personally, that more languages is better than fewer languages if for no other reason than it increases thinking skills by processing more information and allows varying thought processes as any person that speaks multiple languages knows. |

I must be a genius then with my 7 languages.
I don't know, a lot of the time, things are just a whole big multi-lingual mess in my head. It does help to appreciate the many different cultures out there, though. When you speak their language, it's dificult not to identify with them in some way. I've always said that learning a language is not only about vocabulary, but also very often about learning a brand new culture and way of life. |

Do you think that the Pledge should only be said in English though? |

I speak one fluently and a two decently and two more like crap.
You do know what I mean though...right? Inversion and all that good stuff. Syntax is different and that indicates a different manner in thinking. I actually forgot what it is called and I will be looking it up because of this. |
