When I saw the title of your thread I wanted to be the 1st to bring up the whole PZ Myers thing, oh the hypocrisy of having a biology professor expelled from Expelled for fear of dissent, all while being thanked in the credits because you were granted the interview under false pretenses.

But to not even realize that you forgot to kick out Richard Dawkins, thats about as stupid as this movie. Next thing you know astrologers will demand that astronomers aren't taking them seriously enough.

This is becoming such a ridiculous story, I honestly expect their financial backers to pull out and the film to never be released before much longer. Expelled is an embarassment and it's just getting worse.

That's why I've recommended that we get a bunch of people like Dawkins and PZ Myers and Sam Harris together and let them do a riff track on the film.

Where in the linked article was it stated that the reasoning for his expulsion was dissent, as oposed to, say, a history of harrasment? Please quote the portion of the article you are referring to as my inferior literacy obviously missed it.

A history of harassment? I would love to see your source for that if you are indeed suggesting it. If he had a history of harassment with them, why did they THANK HIM in the ending credits?

I never said that it was in the article, PZ explains exactly what happened in this interview with Richard Dawkins as they recount what happened. Sorry, no full text for me to quote from, you're gonna have to watch it:

'Gravity' wasn't the namesake for a flawed scientific explanation of the origin of weight.

Of course it is questioned, hence this thread.

Of course it is questionable, you should hear scientist debate about how evolution occurred; It gets heated.

The beauty of science is that its every theory is testable, and disprovable. Its a self correcting process, where people are quick to admit where they have been proven wrong.
