All the animals , two by two, and the whole world flooded. | Thank you for completely ignoring my post that says that, IMO, THE CLAIMS ARE EXAGERATED. How is that being ignorant?

So that either leaves you in the uncomfortable position of reinterpreting the Bible to fit with observations, or rejecting observations in favor of demanding your book must be true. | While, first of all, the people who wrote the story didn't have contacts worldwide, so by saying "worldwide flood", they are probably referring to their own area, aka their world. And this story has existed for thousands of years, so chances are it has been exagerated, but to what degree there is no way of knowing. |

No worldwide flood occurred, and its not possible to even fit a small fraction of the species of land animals onto one boat, even if you could gather them all into one place. The real point to made is this: if they were wrong about the worldwide flood and wrong about putting all the animals on the boat, why should we believe that they were right about god?

Thanks for admitting it. |

I will admit however, that when I run into those that try to tell me these stories are truth, I lose enough respect for them to no longer expend energy in conversation, as experience has generally shown them to be closed off to the reality I live in.
Problems arise when they continue to engage me in a conversation I have attempted to leave, and at that point I switch to gaming vs. debate...partly because its usually quite fun to play with them, and partly because they deserve to be exposed as fools for pushing a fable on the scientifically minded.

Wow... does anyone here really want to defend this ignorant moron?
