George Bush (US). Fairly obvious, although not as inevitable as one might think, Mexico is quite poorly run.

Europe:

Geert Wilders (Netherlands).Gets points for making somthing as absurdly named as "Party for Freedom" and for being a lying opportunistic demagouge douchebag.

South America:

Hugo Chavez (Venezuela). For fairly obvious reasons.

Middle East:

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran). For similarly obvious reasons.

Africa:

Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe). This was quite a contest, but I think Mugabe wins throughs a combination of utter incompetency and bloodthirsty brutality.

I'll probably be called some kind of Muslim / Commie sympathiser but all I can see that an American would dislike them for is that they dislike America most. Iran is becoming quite an affluent country with high standards of living and Columbia - well Chavez isn't as bad as the two corrupt parties he displaced in 1998 ..

No, I never made such a claim.
Mugabe I can agree with - there's a pretty bad bunch across many parts of Africa but his record of decimating his own country's economic and industrial machine makes him bad. Literal genocide against part of the population makes him the worst on the African Continent.

Bush - I'm not touching because this is clearly a U.S. domestic issue - the choices of worst run North American nations are U.S. Canada and Mexico. I left Bush simply because of the comedy element and as I stated before - the internal politics that drives this forum.

Geert Wilders - I agree with but didn't want to get embroiled in some of the views he is alluded to have. To me he isn't a racist (the main charge people try and paint him with) but he is an opportunist as New Coup says.

Now, I'm still waiting to hear a good reason for Ahmadinejad and Chavez being on the list. We all know they dislike the U.S. but where is the proof of internal genocide / opportunism at cost to their own people / incompetence in handling their national interest to justify them being on this list?

Ahmadinejad has a platform of religious fundamentalism, and his policies (such as strict enforcement of Muslim dress codes, attempts to censor unfavorable speech, intolerance toward homosexuality) have all but brought a halt to Iran's progress. Clearly the progressive elements of Iranian society that want to see it brought into the 21st century are not pleased with the current administration.

That said, I am not sure I would have put him ahead of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
