What do you mean "changing my mind" I NEVER claimed I was going to vote for McCain. I will however say it again. I will look at the canidates right before the election to make my decision. Most likley the Libertarian canidate unless he is another kook. If so I will vote "present" or write someone in.
I flame no one. I am debating what I think about this obama business on a political forum straight up. | Hey Rev. good example of why I stopped posting here, they made up the shuffle thing, never proved I changed an opinion or refuse to answer their debate when in fact they refused to debate topics, and anytime I posted they pulled out the hammer to shut down any debate. Now you seem the target. Good luck.

How come no one is responding to it? |

Reverend, and IT, and all the others that keep getting involved in this. If you continue to take threads away from topic and just focus on attacking and counter attacking each other, it is going to result in infractions. If any then continue it, it will continue with further infractions. Its getting absolutely absurd. If someone starts it, report it and don't attack back. If you attack back, then expect equal punishment. This ends now, knock it off. |

They may not abandon them, but they still have to have some hidden feelings that they aren't showing. Quote: |
What I find rather humorous is those of you who assume that Reverend Wright was saying the outrageous things shown on You Tube EVERY SINGLE WEEK or even once a month. If these angry sermons were all Wright had to offer, I would wonder what the heck Obama was doing remaining friends with him. That's not the impression I got from Obama's speech or other things he has said.
| One time would be enough, but actually he probably had a record of making harsh statements. Sounds like a white-people hater to me. Any kind of hate talk should not be over-looked not even one time, friend or not. We choose our friends, and I'd distance myself from someone like this real fast, and you probably would, too. Quote: |
Nevertheless, I am not going to convince you that there are possiblities where people decide to overlook flaws of someone and continue the friendship for what it is. I just hope some day you have an understanding of such emotion because it is powerful.
| This is a blah, blah, blah statement. Humans pretty much all have the same emotions in them to a degree. I have stuck with friends that I honestly didn't like, many times, but it's not a wise thing to do. Someone who has aspirations for political office needs to choose his friends very carefully because he will be judged on it, you better believe it. "Birds of a feather, flock together." You gotta be realistic here and get rid of all the emotional crappola. Quote:
By the way, I had no idea that "unconditional BS" is only felt by liberals. What do you know? | I just think unconditional love has a certain amount of BS to it. Most of us have limits as to what we'll tolerate, and need to.
Obama made a poor choice, and quite possibly all his religiousness is for show anyway. I'm not convinced he's religious. Not yet. It doesn't matter to me, but it's possible his wife is the one who liked Wright. Obama is pussy-whipped from what I can tell.
