I already addressed that twice now. I believe in this thread even.

But soon, they too, will be tired of beating a dead horse and move on to something else to further their agenda that is not as tiring....
Meanwhile, we are distracted away, yet again, from the real issues that matter. Does anyone think we will ever learn?

I don't agree with his left-leaning populism, and will probably take issue with how he conducts the War in Iraq and WoT. But I have no issues with Obama's character or person.
I was listening to the Dennis Miller show last night on the way home from the gym, and he said something I thought was important.
"If you want to lead this country, you have to at the very least, embrace it."
I think Obama does this sufficiently.

I thought Hillary would get elected, and then in 2012 the world would end; considering "star wars" and a Mayan symbol for Venus looking like "Kilroy was Here"; Woman=War; A feminist woman president having a hot flash, after an attack against us by those who veil their women, does not produce a pretty picture.
Just kidding...
*****
The first African-American or "Black" president will be carrying more on his shoulders than any of us can imagine. Talk about needing our prayers...
Should he go down as a good president, regardless of the liberal stuff, it would be in all of our best interests. Screw greed; peace is better. Stick it to the rich man; the talking heads on one of Fox's economic shows said a couple of months ago that if we raise taxes the rich will flee with their jobs overseas, uh, it kind of looks like they did that during the good times.
Should he go down as a bad president, because of the liberal stuff, I am afraid his character will not matter, it would not be in all our best interests.
God bless the man, should he get elected. God bless America.

What on earth could possible have been the origination of such comments, if not white american enslavement and violence towards blacks.
Shameful.

So you don't have a problem with Obama saying on Friday that he never heard Wright say any of these outrageous things then in his speech today saying that he was in the church when Wright made those kind of statements........
That is what we call a lie where I come from...... |

I have already condemned, in unequivocal terms, the statements of Reverend Wright that have caused such controversy. For some, nagging questions remain. Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely - just as I'm sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests, or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed. Obama Race Speech: Read The Full Text - Politics on The Huffington Post | What Navy Pride seems to infer is that Obama was there in the audience when Wright made the specific statements that are being shown on You Tube. That's not what he is saying in his speech. He is saying that he was in attendance when Wright has made controversial statements. Therefore, Obama did not lie, IMO. |
