Facts We Are Supposed To Ignore About Barack Obama
By Dave Gibson on Mar 13, 08
Obama’s fan club in the mainstream news media has abandoned all basic tenets of journalism, in favor of protecting a candidate whose own supporters cannot name any of his accomplishments. Despite his lack of experience and many troubling issues surrounding Obama, our liberal press has joined his campaign and now hope that we will be so taken with his rock star status that we too will ignore the facts.
Here are a few of the facts folks such as Chris Matthews hope we will not discover:
1) His middle name is Hussein.
2) His wife Michelle’s apparent anti-American attitude.
3) His membership in a black racist church.
4) His association with a known terrorist.
5) His endorsement from Louis Farrakhan. NewsByUs: Facts We Are Supposed To Ignore About Barack Obama by Dave Gibson - Mar 13, 08

2) Because she said she's now proud of her country? Since when is being ashamed, or dissenting anti-american? I'm getting tired of the "my country right or wrong" crowd and their refusal to understand this distinction. Only a fool would believe that we have always been right in our actions/laws/policies, and only a false patriot would show contempt for a person trying to make their country great again so that they can be genuinely proud of it.
3) How is it a racist Church?
4) Like who?
5) Non-issue, his platform does not resemble Farrakhan's. Again, only morons are moved by this.

5) Who the **** cares? Bhkad endorsed McCain, but that doesn't mean McCain's a bad candidate.

Oh I dunno, looking at some of the great things we have done in the past, including the civil rights movement, this is the first time she is "proud" when her husband wins a few primaries? Quote: |

Uhm have you listened to some of the pastors nonsense?

I do think he distanced himself enough from farrakan but looking at his wife, his church and pastor for 20 years, makes me wonder., |

Says who? In what way do you categorize her with this question?
Being proud of historical events, and having a nation that you can currently be proud of are two very different things. Quote:

Lean: Libertarian Gender: Awards: | Re: Facts We Are Supposed To Ignore About Barack Obama I think his middle name is irrelevant. He had no say in what his parents named him. I just wish he would confront it instead of ignoring it. Put it to rest once and for all.
My middle name is Alexander, does that mean I support a Greek takeover of the country? No.
What is your middle name? Does it necessarily link you to its ethnicity?
Obama's association with certain people does trouble me, though. |

I wouldn't want someone in office whos wife was not proud of this nation. But hey thats just me. Quote:

Nuh uh. thats changing the question and context. You asked: "3) How is it a racist Church?"
I and others explained it. Look up I believe there is one available. Quote:

Some of these points I think I am doing quite fine, others I agree with you are nonsense. It was an article, I posted it to foster debate. |
