What do you guys/girls think? | McCain's best bet would be Charlie Crist or Tim Pawlenty. If he picks Huckabee, he'll lose any chance of consolidating the base.
Mitt Romney would be a train wreck; there is absolutely no reason for McCain to pick him. And McCain would never pick him anyway...they obviously hate each other.
I don't know much about Bobby Jindal, but he's only been governor for one year. Why would he be a good choice? And who cares about drawing some of the Paul folks? If McCain has to rely on them for his victory, he may as well pack it in now.

Current Mood: | Re: Republican Vice President candidates...... I see only two serious choices, Mark Sanford and Tim Pawlenty. Bobby Jindal JUST got elected governor, there's no way he's qualified to be President, which must be a precondition of being vice president. Same goes for Charlie Crist.
I think the best is Sanford, I think either could be very valuable as the foundation of the future of the Republican party.

Picking him could swing it to the Republicans. I do not think picking anyone from the Southern States is a good idea, most of them are already safe Republican. |

That's good news! |

Of course, he also said that he doesn't want an elected office. |
