I'm not sure about Pa., but in NJ we have a Democratic Governor and two Democratic Senators. The state, consistently leans left. No way does McCain win, here.

From what I understand, NJ looked like a very possible GOP pick up last cycle, but turned bluer and bluer the closer we got to the election.

I remember that similarly. This time around, there are few GOP supporters, even at this stage.

Blue is the most beautiful colour!!!

The Democrats are going to have to absolutely screw up to lose this election.

Re: SUSA Releases New Electoral Map Predictions

I think McCain picks up Wisconsin myself. Although, as this poll indicates, he would stand a better chance to pick it up vs. Hilary than Obama. Bush almost picked it up in 2004, and this has been a traditional blue state that the dems could count on in the past. Milwaukees proximity to Chicago infects it with the low brow democratic voters, while Madison is comprised more of the educated elite liberal mindset. Obama picks up the race vote in Milwaukee, and the anti-war vote in Madison.

Same with Washington state. No way does McCain win here.

In the primaries there were over 622,000 democratic voters.

McCain only received 238,000 of the republican vote. The votes remaining from the total republican vote (of 471,000) going to Paul, Huckabee and Romney.

What I think is funny is that McCain thinks he can compete in California. I hope to God and all the saints that he starts pumping money into California. There is no way in hell California is going red for a very, very long time. The land of Reagan is not decidedly the land of Pelosi.

Well, generally speaking, it does seem to be what they're best at. Although this new trend of Obama and Hillary raising even more money than a Republican is certainly interesting.
