I didn't "Fail to mention it". It is pointless to mention because, like so much of McCain, its his flavor of the moment that he's trying to placate people with. For someone that bitches so much about how Bill Clinton was a "poll president" that just did whatever the american public wanted to hear you sure as hell seem to not mind that with McCain.

When it was brought up I explained exactly why I didn't bother wasting my breath, which you would've likely had to have read since it came a good number of post and a good bit of time before YOUR post.

in 2008 it was because it didn't include spending cuts

in 2009 if he's in office it'll probably be due to "compromising" about national healthcare that he opposes tax cuts or in the name of protecting against global warming that he increases them.

Sorry, but his words aren't backed up by his past words and actions.

When it comes to turn out in the general election the primaries don't mean squat.....The people that come out for the dems are their rabid far left..............

The polls disagree with you.......Your going to feel pretty bad when McCain is elected president...........

I truly believe Hillary has a major problem..........She will lose a lot of moderate democrat votes for 2 reasons.........A lot of democrats just don't think she is electable.......A lot of democrats can't stand her guts and would never vote for her...........

Why not Huckabee as the VP running mate? IN many respects, he would complement McCain very well and placate the conservative base.

Putting ANYONE named Bush on the ticket would be a BAD idea in the current political climate.
