I doubt the two of us have much, if anything, in common.

The worst thing I could do on election day is cast my vote for someone I don't respect or agree with.

Yeah, but it's not like any of us went into this without knowing that. Paul is not a supporter of the status quo, he isn't easily controlled, and he won't do what the aristocrats tell him to do. He told us what he would do, limit government and bring the people back into control of it. To help to proliferate and expand personal freedom and liberty while avoiding unconstitutional acts the government has taken for quite some time now. No one in the architect (and sadly that includes the mainstream press these days) is going to want that idea out in the open. They don't want even the slightest chance of something like that being picked up by the public at large. Keep us dumb, keep us fighting over R's and D's and not thinking of the actual root problem. in no way shape or form would those that run the show want their power threatened, and as Paul advocates the power of the People over everything else he most certainly represented such a threat.

The only way the system works is if you research the candidate and support the one that best agrees with your personal political standing. That's one of the many many duties we as freemen have to undertake.

You don't agree with a single third party running? not even the libertarian party?

I don't vote for a party. Once the primaries are over I will certainly look over other options. In the context of my reply to Navy Pride though - it doesn't matter. any vote that isn't a vote for McCain is what he is criticizing.

I'm just confused, then, because you quoted my post. I understand where you're coming from and can completely respect it.

After you quoted my post to Navy Pride - I replied to it...

I said "I can write his name in".

I think you were also confused in thinking I said will.

Why are strong Conservatives like Senators Coburn, Lott, and Jack Kemp endorsing him if he is so liberal?
