Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate that stands any chance of winning against Obama or Hilary because he IS principled.

If your idea of an ideal government or system of government were ever created, I have the feeling that many of your like minded brethren would stake out the fringes of that nation and rebel against the mainstream.

No matter where they might be or what the existing system might be, the people I'm thinking of just prefer being on the fringe or marginal. And they like it so much that they would marginalize themselves just as quickly as they could.

Meh, not much difference from the other side. If I'm gonna vote, I'll vote for the person whom best echoes my personal political beliefs. I'm not voting for the lesser of two evils, I'm sick of evil being accepted as a choice. The best thing to have happened this election cycle is that Giuliani dropped out, if he had the nomination I would almost have to consider going Democrat...right before I would vote Libertarian. Other than that, with no Paul the rest are all the same lot. Big government douchebags wanting to spend more of my money, take more of my liberty, and expand more of their power. The R and D doesn't make a difference much anymore, it should all be S for socialist.

Good. I hope they also thank the idiots that railroaded Ron Paul for the last 6 months.

No matter where you might be or what the existing system might be you guys, IMHO, just like being marginal. And you like it so much that you would marginalize yourselves just as quickly as you could.
Then don't f'n worry about it. What's the point of even making a post for something so marginal? It's my god damned vote, and I'll use it as I see fit. Just because I ain't following the rest of you off the cliff doesn't mean you have to get your panties all bunched up in a knot over it.

that seems pointless to me, since nothing will come of it. Voting for a third party candidate at least raises their visibility and their party's visibility. Writing in a candidate who is not running seems pointless.

When they win, you can send your thanks to the GOP. The most conservative choice in the end was too conservative for them...

I apologize for having referred to you so directly in the first iteration. When I realized what I had done I changed my post to refer to those you'd consider your brethren.

Please excuse my lapse.
