Re: McCain vs Hillary/Obama

Navy Pride, Post 192 was directed to you? Did you not see the post? OR did you just not want to commit that you agree with too many of the same issues with Ron Paul.. WHo BTW, is more conservative than even Ronald Reagan.

Come on, give it a shot. Answer the questions...

On these issues:

Abortion.
Immigration.
Monetary policies. (And don't forget now, Ronald Reagan was a big fan of the Gold standard)
Free Trade.
inflation.
Taxes.
Government sponsored Health Care.
Social Security.
My major gripe with Paul is on his views on foreign policy...........He is a nut when it comes to that issue and to me it is the most important issue we face..........

Could it not be a fair statement to say that in Iraq, our military has already accomplished everything a military can accomplish?
So you basing the future of the GOP on one issue. You basing the future of this country on one issue. If our military came home, and the Government actually secured our borders, used our FBI and CIA to tract down those who visa's have expired, that this country would NOT be more safe?

So then you agree that Ron Paul is correct on the economy, abortion, immigration, monetary policies, inflation, free trade, Taxes, Government Sponsored Health Care, and Social security.

Lets take that into perspective. McCain's stance on those issues are different than Ron Pauls. So then you dissagree with John McCain on more issues than Ron Paul, but your still in support of McCain because of his stance on Iraq. Not our military. Just Iraq.

I think you should break a few books about Reagan a do some reading. Because if you think Ronald Reagan would support John McCain over Ron Paul, then no wonder the GOP is going down.

I believe it is the most important issue and if we lose the wa on terror all the other isues won't mean squat............

We will be finished in Iraq when the Iraqi military and police can provide the security that country requires........We are closer but not there yet........

It might surprise you that I agree with Paul on a lot of issues but becasue of his position on foreign policy he is unelectable...........

If you agree that this is what we need to do then why do you support the Global Empire faction?

Democrats want what you want.

Bush and McCain want a 100+ year occupation.
Their motives are greed, control, and to spread our way of thinking by force.
Democrats want to stabalize the region and have peace.

Republicans want to focus on Iraq and lure terrorists there like a wet sponge.
Democrats want to focus on Afganistan where the people that attacked us are.

Ironically, i agree more with Republicans on internal policy.
But when it comes to foreign policy, theirs is so god awful that it leaves me no choice but to vote democrat. Based only on foreign policy.

When did Bush say anything about 100 year occupation

You know how long we have been in Germany? Over 60 years

Korea Over 50 years

Japan Over 60 years

Both Hillary want to cut and run as soon as they get in office.......Huge difference..........

Then you simply do not listen enough to what Obama wants, allowing it to come down to catch phrases.
I am guilty of the same in regards to McCain. But with his attitude of supremacy and pro war i simply feel i have seen enough.

Obama wants to have top level talks with Iran and Syria. Hes even said that personally going to Iran is not out of the question.
His plan for withdrawal is anything but "cutting and running".
Like me, he sees the most important part of having peace in the region as showing all Muslims that we WILL NOT continue to occupy their land.
That we WILL NOT continue to bring democracy to them on the end of a gun barrel.
We see THIS as the most important part of the War on Terror.

From my perspective Obama's move would be the first major step in the real War on Terror. Its called "peace" and respecting others.
Having serious meetings with all Muslim nations and showing them that we want peace.

He also clearly said that he reserved the right to not withdraw or even increase our troops if he feels the situation calls for it.

The only real difference is the mentality.
One side wants to make steps to control. The other wants to make steps for peace.

Catch phrases like "surrender" are the same thing to me as "flip flopper" from the last election.
They only work on the simple minded. But unfortunately they do their job well.

I have watched every democratic debate and Obama wants o cut and run and surrender to terrorism.......He has said many times that he will begin pulling combat troops out in 60 days.......

Make no mistake about it.......The terrorists in Iraq are praying for and Obama or Hillary presidency...............

Other then that I will not respond to your left wing spin and talking points...........

Surrender is not and option.........

Nice Catch Phrase.
Its too bad that catch phrases are never even remotely close to reality.
Since 911 we have created millions of terrorists and millions more future terrorists.
We're doing exactly what they want.
We are their best recruiting tool.

Why can we not learn anything at all from history?
This is not a war its a mind set.
Its not ever going to be won. We can either feed the monster or we can work for peace.
