Election officials brought a list of registered voters dated November 1st. The actual deadline to register Republican is November 30th.

We are still waiting to find out the results of these provisional ballots.
So far we know that Ron Paul has earned one additional delegate, but we still don't know how many ballots are left to be counted or how large of a lead McCain even had.
How are they ignoring Paul's second place win if they haven't even had a primary yet? Please help me out because I am confused.

they had a caucus - which plays a role in the delegate selection.

I don't fully understand how Louisiana operates, but the campaigns do put an effort into the caucus.

It was 10,000 people in 11 locations...

I hardly find it anything special considering that the delegates do NOT vote for their personal candidate...

The winner of the primary gets these delegates irrelevant of who the delegates themselves want, so the fact the 1, 5, or any other number of them want wacky Uncle Paul doesn't mean anything...

The reason why I thought it was news worthy, was because it's show a steady climb in his popularity. I mean, McCain already had a win under his belt. But broadcasting that Ron Paul got his 2nd Silver, was news. Considering his lack of media coverage, not being allowed in a debate, and only getting money from supporters of an average contribution of about $100. I thought that was big news.
And it should have been something the Media should have covered beside Britney Spears.

I don't know. If there's any delegate sure to be a faithless elector at the convention, it's almost positively going to be a Ron Paul supporter.

Because If Ron Paul actually won more delegates then there are two things that are very important.

1. It gives Ron Paul a better chance and more exposure within the state. Especailly for the primiary. Every win helps. And Ron Paul needs it going into the primary. since Huckleberry isn't getting out until after Feb. 5th.

2. It shows discrepincies in louisiana's voting process. In which all things about every states election process needs to be completely honest and open to the public. Because it is the publics votes.
