Re: Lancet study validity in doubt
But, if it stated that 655,000 Iraqis have been killed since 2003, you would have no problem understanding it, right? Face it Billo, you like the Lancet because of the number it produced. It has nothing to do with "experts" or fields of study. If it did, then you would look more towards the overwelming reports that show a far different and lesser number as given by these same type "experts" and the same type field of study.

I simply do not understand how you think that by behaving in the manner that you do and protesting in the manner that you do that people are supposed to see you as something different as the portrayal. The worst report imaginable comes out and you jump on it. Any hint of an "attrocity" and you jump on it. No matter what new issue arises, "Massey" and "Lancet" are near and dear to your heart. A 2 year old in handcuffs is always a tool in your box. Always, your protests for "peace" surround only Iraq. Where exactly is the disconnect between the rest of us and your character? Or have you just been playing a character all these years? |

Uhm without going into great detail as you asked a general question not on a specific in the kane analysis: what is a "primary null hypothesis" - statment of fact to be disproven - i.e. this model will work for this application and its relationship to a "model specification" and how a specific "confidence interval" - this system specification will work for this application within these performance parameters or demands. would affect that relationship? They are not "for peace" and they do not understand the value of peace. We do. We are the peace makers, and we know that peace is not the absence of war but the presence of Justice. People like Billo think that peace is a cradle to grave society where big government forces it's "peace" at the end of a barrel so that you don't eat too much trans fats. We are the true pacifists. "A pacifist is not really a pacifist if he is unable to make a choice between violence and non-violence. A true pacifist is able to kill or maim in the blink of an eye, but at the moment of impending destruction of the enemy he chooses non-violence. He chooses peace. He must be able to make a choice. He must have the genuine ability to destroy his enemy and then choose not to. I have heard this excuse made. “I choose to be a pacifist before learning techniques so I do not need to learn the power of destruction.” This shows no comprehension of the mind of the true warrior. This is just a rationalization to cover the fear of injury or hard training. The true warrior who chooses to be a pacifist is willing to stand and die for his principles. People claiming to be pacifists who rationalize to avoid hard training or injury will flee instead of standing and dying for principle. They are just cowards. Only a warrior who has tempered his spirit in conflict and who has confronted himself and his greatest fears can in my opinion make the choice to be a true pacifist." -Takamura |
