No one...they go and find the data that has the highest probablility of yielding information (based on already present suspicion) and they work from there. No one needs to worry about the dirty conversation you're having with your girlfriend being bothered with.

In fact, you are in much more jeopardy of having your job threatened by an employer's invasion of your privacy or embarassment because a jealous lover hired a PI to watch your every move than you are of having the government knocking on your door.

They have reasonably subverted all those controls and done whatever they want, which is illegal and wrong.

You trying to justify it by saying that they can reasonably search within that data for whatever they need is bull****, it doesn't even matter. That data should have never been copied or gone over without a judge's consent.

What's your point? He used data that was acquired bya nother institution to commit this act. Had the government actually been doing it's job that data wouldn't have existed.
