It matters a great deal. He could have but chose not to.
better for him to save 1 family than to have the entire world destroy itself and
man kill itself off.

you don't know because you can't see the future of events to come. God on the hand can.

LOL! If you read the story, you'll see the the entire world didn't 'destroy itself'. That psycho god did.

If this being can see into and know the future, that pretty much destroys any credibility of the Christ story.
