The media downplays Islamic involvment in crime and what not.

DC sniper was Muslim

The Riots in France were Muslim

There are tons more, but the media will only reluctantly mention it if a hullabaloo is raised.

Quite the contrary. It was widely speculated upon by the MSM that the OK City bombing looked like the work of Muslim extremists. The religion of the actual perpetrator McVeigh was never mentioned.
What about the Waco suicide jihadis? Was Christianity brought under critical review? How about all the school shooters? The many child molesters?

I never said that anyone should be vilified, only that Arabs do a good job of stereotyping themselves. My opinion is based on watching really disturbing things on the news that come out about the cultures in places like Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Somalia as well as Iraq.

Note: Iran is mainly a Persian country not Arabic.

I'm still reserving judgement on what's best to do about Iran. I truly think it's a acatch 22 at this point regardless of what we choose to do. I'd like to share my opinion, but since you tried to spin & pigeon hole my viewpoint I'll keep my opinion to myself at this time.

Mossadegh was not not President, he was Prime Minister and cozying up with communists. The Shah appointed him, then Mossadegh tried to overthrow him.

That's a deep story, and of little relevance to the average Iranian citizen today.
