The Log Cabin Republicans have run an ad about Mitt Romney, supporting him. In the ad, they point out Romney's support of abortion, gun control, and other issues which are anathema to the Republican party.

There goes Romney's candidacy, right down the tubes.

Dana...the ad isn't to support Romney, its to smear him. The log cabiners few Romney as the main threat to Giuliani, which is probably true. But they want Giuliani and are attempting to tear down Romney's campaign.

The following poster mis-read or failed to read or comprehend that the OP's post was correct EXCEPT for the word "supporting."

No, Danarhea got it right. While Mitt Romney and most of the Republican party will see this as an attack, the Log Cabin sees it as a positive.

It would be nice to have a moderate Republican that fights against the Religious Right but we will see conservatives give a damm about minorities (when its not election time) before that will happen.

When you read the article, you will see that the Log Cabin is not supporting Romney...they are supporting Giuliani. If you have any doubts see the link in the similar post that I started in this same category.
