That is your opinion about who deserves Govt handouts. I have a different opinion.

My point is that *I* didn't agree that Navy "Pride" should get Govt freebies. Why should *I* have to pay for his freebies any more than you should have to pay for some child's that you don't agree with?

I see the difference just fine. It is just a difference of opinion as to who should get Govt assistance. See post above. I don't have any problem with armed military guys getting subsidized health care. But *I* didn't agree to pay it.

The reality is, under our current system, insurance companies and HMO's are making billions of dollars in profits...get THAT under control and I think you would find that universal health care is not an unrealistic goal.

Did you watch 20/20 a week ago.It was about universal health care in Canada, France, and Cuba........Did you know that in Canada pets have better health care then their owners..........Did you know that when people have a major illness the sometime have to wait up to 6 months for surgery and die before they get the surgery...........Did you know that Canadians come here for major surgery..........Did you know since everything is free there is no incentive for research or to improve equipment.......Did you know that people go to the doctor for the slightest illness....Something we would never consider doing..............
