She simply said, "...institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and CAP..." She didn't mention the nature of her help. She didn't say she co-founded them. She didn't say she was a visionary. I don't know if she was lying, because it is unclear what her vague statement meant. What are you implying? You're trying to make this simple statement into something it isn't.

No I'm not making something out of nothing. I'm just showing another example of a shameless politician who tailors her message to the focus group in front of whom she's speaking.



Their agenda was the creation of disparate groups based on things like: race, alternative sexual lifestyles, gender, religion; apply a list of grievances to each group that would be portrayed as civil rights denied in a culture who's structure was dominated by white, hetero-sexual, Christian males.

These "groups" would be the basis on which to criticize the mainstream culture; not to reform it, but to destroy it. And, they would form together a voting block to sweep in radical social change.

Seems pretty familiar to me.

The same holds true for the draft documents.

The effect would have been greater if they had simply *alleged reports of it, instead of forging documents to try to prove it. The resentment that people had for the news org. for such an undertaking diminished any anger people may have had for Bush and directed it instead twds. CBS and subsequently Kerry.

No, I didn't, just pointing out to you that Rush said "phony soldiers, then claimed he was talking about one soldier and changed his transcript. How long are you going to continue to defend this obvious and blatant lie?

Listen. I know what forgery is. It has never been proven that the documents were forgeries. You admitted it was known that Bush was AWOL; you even denied a coverup of it. So what makes you so sure the documents were forged? Some experts thought they were, but other experts thought they were authentic. Most recently, a private investigator hired by CBS uncovered corroboration for Rather's story and he was of the opinion that "the Killian Documents were most likely authentic, and that the underlying story was certainly accurate."

Liberals will consistently and persistently just engage in ad homanem and phony attacks because they can't win on the issues. I never denied that the story was true 1st of all. All I'm saying is that CBS news did a great dis-service to any light being shed on the truth when they went ahead and aired a show using document who's: *content may have been true but the actual hard copy was fake.
