Seriously though, I hate those maps that show which counties voted what. As if the entire county conspires to vote on way or the other. I prefer the maps that show the true Amercia, which is varying shades of purple, instead of this blue/red crap.

They both think logically. Conservatives think logically about how to best maximize their personal wealth. Liberals think logically about how they can do that within the confines of providing basic welfare to the less fortunate in society within the realm of governement fiscal responsibility.

I think the fact that most scientists haven't conformed to what the standard answer from the church to every has been shows a certain degree of liberalism.

Not really. Think about it. Most democrats have realized this war wasn't worth what it cost. There are still 30% of Americans(Educated Guess : Republican Conservatives) still think it was worth it.

People often become successful by working their asses off. They get to the top of corporations often by being ruthless. Those two qualities will often get you quite a bit of money in life. It has very little to do with "intelligence" per se. Conservatives getting to the top aren't generally doing so because they don't believe in evolution.

My general take has been that liberals tend to be better educated, but as a whole are more lazy. Most institutions of higher learning, filled with intelligent people, are liberal bastions. But the less educated people are out in the world, making actual money.
