Judging by the voter turnout it seems like the Liberal population is concentrated in the bigger cities while Conservative population seems to be spread out over the rural areas.(big shocker)

Therefore, one can come to the conclusion that your average everyday liberal is more educated then your average conservative.

Then what the hell is going on in Northern Minnesota???

I do agree with you though that this does say something about the intelligence of these two groups - the fact that both you and Ms. Schickel appear to be oblivious to what this study actually indicates says quite a lot about the intelligence of liberals as compared to conservatives.

Independents are smarter than Dems and Reps. We wait until we have all of the information. We don't need party affiliation to tell us how to think. We also understand the elections aren't horse races.
