Piercings

So anyway before i got distracted by other posts i got my penis pierced today.Which means i now have both my nipples pierced my belly button and my **** pierced.Even though i have none of my face done what so ever and the truth is i get a strange sexual thrill out of it and i was just wondering if anyone could at least slightly understand what i mean by that?

What's this "sex" thing people keep talking about?

What do you think about this tongue-splitting that's all the rage now?
My son really wants to get that. I'm seriously hoping he'll change his mind before he's old enough to do it without my permission.
Although I have heard that it's fairly easy to surgically repair a split tongue, if you get tired of it; in fact, I read that they sometimes repair spontaneously.
It just freaks me out. It's a step farther than I or most people of my generation would be willing to go. I try not to be judgemental, but frankly, a lot of body mods seem uncomfortably close to self-mutilation.
I suppose it's only a matter of degree.

I've only seen pictures of people with the tongue-splitting but it does look kinda wierd. It's not something I would have done but to each his own. Atleast with your son, he has some time it seems to think it over. What may sound good to him now may not whenever he comes of age.

But, I didn't know that the tongue can repair on it's own, I wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

Except for my daughters name. All my tattoos have been about pleasure. I like the feeling I get after they're done. My daughters name was more about pride then anything else.

The earrings....I use to wear studs. Now I'm wearing tiny loops. I don't know. I guess one day it'll get to the point where I'm wearing ministuds. Earrings to me are more about aesthetics then anything else.

Its slightly more disturbing, and slightly less annoying than those "heelies" that kids are wearing in place of shoes.

I am an old guy, so you might understand why I can't see piercings as being attractive. My generation was into tats a bit, but even that creeps me out the way it is being done now. I especially don't like it when food handlers, wait staff, fast food clerks, etc. have excessive metal haning on their ears, lips, nose, eyebrows, tongues, etc.
Anyway, I have to ask, do any of you with lots of visible piercings find it difficult on the job? or if you are not working, even getting a job?
Every place I ever worked, and I just retired, made it clear that visible tats and piercings had to be severly limited or you don't need to apply for a job with them.

Depends what you mean. I find that earrings suit me. The kind I wear go well with the clothes I wear when I have to do a presentation to a client or when I'm in a meeting. If I wore really big studs I doubt it would look as attractive. Either way it's a lot easier then having dreads or braids. I had to cut my hair off when I first started working. That for me was worse then taking off my earrings. Now I just keep it either lined up or geled up when it gets past an inch. If you work in areas where visual appearance is everything having untidy hair is a lot worse then having piercings or tattoos.
