So if you want something and say so and the person is like "what is the word with the double t?" (like "bitte" for "please"), you are like, the word is "flott" like hurry up | I had to read 3 times but I got it
Oh I've been several times in Germany (and even lived there several years when I was very young). I don't know if they are more nice than the French, but their hotels are WAY cleaner!
Do you know where the French hide their money?

- Under their soap | How can you say this about a country which is a class of its own when it comes to cosmetics industry?
A lot of hotels here are French, I like Accor group, it looks like they own every hotel in Dresden's famous Prager Strasse.
From the Accor group hotel at Guisanplatz in Bern you have the best view over the city and the mountains and it is very well connected to the centre, it's very clean, too, I can only recommend it. |

| Yes, but those hotels are in Germany. Go to a small family hotel in Paris! When you come back one year later you can still see your steps on the floor |

Current Mood: | Re: French Canada: Better then the rest, or WAY Better then the Rest? I've travelled across Canada a few times and my experience in Quebec wasn't too hospitable to say the least. This despite the fact I could speak French decently at the time. (I've lost most of it now due lack of use over the years) When they figured out I wasn't a native French Canadian they refused to converse with me in French. This unfortunate incident occurred at a gas station when we required directions. We made up our minds after that episode to bypass Quebec and travel through the States instead.
The ironic part is, one of my friends is originally from Quebec and he doesn't have an attitude like the ones I encountered in my travels. Go figure. |
