Hey everyone, back off of Moses! I dunno what bible you're reading, but Moses is innocent of most crimes being levied against him.

The real villain was Joshua, Moses' designated successor. Exodus is pretty tame, but the book of Joshua is just full of rape and genocide.

A slaugher described were every person of the nation was slaughtered:

Numbers 21
32 And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.
33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and og the king of bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at edrei.
34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
35 So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

Numbers 31
This picks up with a battle with the Midianites, in which all the males were slaughtered and they soldiers returned to the camp with the women and children. This made Moses angry:

14 But Moses was angry with the officers of the army, with the captains over thousands and captains over hundreds, who had come from the battle.
15 "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them. 16 "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. 1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 "Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people."

Later the plunder is described, including 32,000 virginal girls (saved for the soldiers) that were all that was left of the Midianite people:

32 The plunder remaining from the spoils that the soldiers took was 675,000 sheep, 33 72,000 cattle, 34 61,000 donkeys 35 and 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.

Another slaughter described:

Deuteronomy 2
32 When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz, 33 the LORD our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army. 34 At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed [3] them-men, women and children. We left no survivors. 35

The chapter concludes with a description of all the gold plundered.


How was Moses innocent?


Joshua was certainly another one. But he is not as revered as Moses.

Ever heard of the three choices while being under a Government of Islam?
1) Become Muslim
2) Subject yourself to a Dhimmi status where you do not have the same benefits or rights as muslims do and you pay more taxes, also, you need to acknowledge muslim supremacy. You may also not bear arms or give testimony in court cases involving Muslims. (Gee, I'd rather be a Muslim too. I guess this is how they get all their converts)
3) Die

Yes. Dhimmi status and Dhimmi ideology exists today and these Peaceful Muslims in Europe (when they aren't rioting over free speech and cartoons), Australia, United States, etc etc, although may not be blowing themselves up everyday or forming insurgencies, they're still trying to work the system in their favor by making separation, special accommodations and other things of Muslim interest that effect the day-to-day lives or business of others living in that Country. These Muslims are also part of the problem.

Muslims at large (at large) are doing NOTHING to stop any of this. They are only contributing.

Thanks for your bit of revisionist history, but first of all "stole" would imply ownership, and the Native Americans had no concept of land ownership or the value of property which is why they sold Manhattan for some beads, caveat venditor, and second of all there was no genocide if there was there would be no native Americans left.

That would imply that we intended to kill anyone, sorry but people dying from disease does not constitute as a dem/genocide unless we deliberately infected them which we did not, there was no systematic intentional mass murder of the indiginous peoples of America, atleast not by the U.S..
