Re: Obama solicits La Raza backing
The "hispanic crowd" in florida are legal immigrants and citizens, largely hard working talented middle class people from Cuba who escaped Castro. This is UTTERLY distinguishable from the illegal alien masses who have flooded the southwest and elsewhere in the millions and are a vast economic drain.

Re: Obama solicits La Raza backing
I don't see the hype over Obama...? It's highly unlikely he'll be elected as the first black president of the U.S. Come on, how many Americans would be willing to rely on Obama to make tough decisions over domestic issues, especially since he has virtually no experience whatsoever on Capitol Hill ?
At least with Hillary, everybody knows that if she's elected the first female president of the U.S., Bill Clinton will become president "again" by default. And you know what that means...? "Hide the fries guys!" Here in Japan, we knew Shinzo Abe had very little experience in the LDP(unlike his predecessor Koizumi), the only difference is that he came from a long line of very influential politicians, namely Nobosuke Kishi - convicted war criminal by the IMTF. We knew that by electing him he'd bring back all the blow hards and the big wigs. At least this way we knew he'd follow through with the Right Wing agenda. What can we expect from Obama ? He has no clout, no name recognition. Son of a share cropper...haha...white mother...haha...whoopty big%##$do ! In our minds, it's just entertainment with Obama, like watching the NBA Finals. Or even better, a globe trotter running around doing unnatural things with a basketball. |

I'm sorry, but "because I said so" isn't exactly a legitimate rebuttal. The group has said that they don't advocate or endorse such things and unless you can show me where they openly endorse it you have nothing sufficient to back up your point.

Defamation huh? How do you explain Tony Perkins of the Family Research Kouncil giving money to David Duke and the Coalition of Conservative Citizens. Just because the Religious Right doesnt advocate racial supremacy and violence doesnt mean they are a racial dangerous group but Im sure you'll be a good RR lap dog and defend a nut like Dobson to the death. Plus you once again you didnt read the statement correctly I never said that Republicans courted the KKK I used that as an example of the right courting an extreme group like Obama is doing now.

Re: Obama solicits La Raza backing
So it was cool for a certain group to reclaim, with the approval of the world community, land that it had historic claim and attachment to. But since that land is not in the western hemisphere it is alright? It would seem that those who most vehemently defend the people and their actions in that distant place are also the loudest opponents of a different group with the same (alleged) goals.
