Democrats cut 'John Doe' provision

My opinion still stands. Until we figure out a way to separate the bull**** from real concerns. Such a provision should not be enacted. Just look at 911. People abuse 911 on a daily basis. My cats on a tree. I hit my finger on the door. I've heard of people who have called 9/11 because they felt they were insulted by the service at a fast food joint. Every day the 911 gets literally hundreds(I'm willing to bet thousands) of bull**** calls. The people who make these bull**** calls very rarely have to face some consequence(even one as small as a fine). Just think of the abuse a service like this would receive. People who think anything with a turban on it's a head is a terrorist would call in non stop. Should these people get away with screwing with people without consequence? **** no.

What are you talking about? This doesn't create some new system all it does is allow someone to remain anonomous and not be sued for reporting suspicous activity, that's just common sense you can't ask the citizenry to be vigilant but say at the same time they can be sued for doing so.

If someone made a legitimate, understandable claim, the suit will be thrown out in court anyways. No judge is going to choose the plantiff if the circumstances are understandable, like the Flying Imams case. However, not all cases are so legitimate. My friend Mike started getting suspicious when we saw a man in a turban (he was Sikh), walking out of our local gun shop, Shooters Paradise.

He's still a human being who the U.S. sent to be tortured. Because he's not a citizen of the U.S. all the sudden he doesn't have the right to not be tortured? Your sense of morality really scares me sometimes TOT. "He's not a citizen of the U.S. so we can just 'kidnap' him and send him to be tortured in Syria".
