Is the US getting ready to attack Iran while Congress is in recess this August? And is the equivalent of the Gulf of Tonkin attack, which never actually happened, already being claimed by the Bush administration?

Interesting. Although the date keeps changing (October 06, April 07, August 07) it would seem that the war is going to occur eventually. I'll have to look at how Buchanon argued in the Spring of 03.

We need to watch the weasels in Washington DC like hawks. Everything has to be questioned. Any authority given to the elected people was given by us, and we better let them know if we are against further aggression of any kind by way of our military.

Vietnam was started based on a lie and it lasted 12 years. The situation in Iraq, which was instigated based on false information and even 'alternative intelligence,' could easily last that long too unless the pressure to stop it increases every minute.
