So now Isreal has an Islamic state, run by Hamas, a group sworn to the destruction of Isreal, in their own backyard?

Looks like Isreal is gonna have to open another can of whup arse and take Gaza back. Perhaps there is no appeasing the Palestinians after all. All gloves are off for Isreal in my humble opinion. Go in and do what you gotta do.

Surprised this isn't a bigger story.

-There is no longer a Palestinian Government.

-Hamas is lining up Fatah security members and executing them in the streets.

-A terrorist organization has conquered a nation.

There never really was one in the sense that you're thinking of. The government was merely a coalition between Hamas and Fatah - an alliance of sorts.

This isn't independently confirmed yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually were.

This is a major blow to the Palestinian anti-zionist movement. Hopefully this can be resolved or the entire region is going to be ****ed.

I'm aware of what I was thinking of. There was a government in the sense that there was a legislative body that debated issues, and most violence was reserved for speech. Now there's not.

Very well. I was listening to NPR news earlier today and just remembered about Fatah officials claiming this was happening.

It would be if a Jew was firing the weapons. The global outcry is merely being reserved for a future Isreali defense. Their silence is as deafening as their voices have been in response to Lebanese military forces in Lebanon against Radical Islamists.
