I think I proved my point. |
But that's not at all what you were arguing before.
First you said this: Quote: |
The Republican National Committee has fired its entire team of telephone solicitors, who have been unable to get donations from the GOP base supporters, which Bush has now lost.
| That was wrong.
Then you said this: Quote:
The proof was in the reports themselves. Now you may pooh pooh those reports, which are hard evidence (not disgruntled employees), and say it does not matter because it was smaller donors, but those smaller donors were from a representative sample of the GOP base, and there were a lot of those donors, considering the size of the telemarketing force which had been calling them for years.
That, my worthy opponent, is where the statistical significance lies. Donations from that database are down,
| That was wrong.
Nowhere did you talk about candidates. We've been talking about the RNC the whole way through.
Now to move on to your new argument.
How does the fact that Hillary and Obama have outraised Romney/Giuliani show that people prefer the Dems to the GOP? All it shows is that those two individuals did a better job of fundraising than the other two individuals (so far.)
And to go even a step further - your numbers show hillary on top with 36 million. But of that 36 million, over 10 million came as transfers from her Senate campaign accounts which places her just barely above Romney in terms of presidential fundraising.
Come on dana, that's disingenuous of you.
