I am not suggesting that the transcendentalist perspective is the correct way either. I am saying there is a flaw in the empiricist pespective in that the empiricist can't account for rational thought by means of his "paradigm."
And I am saying that is not a flaw in the empiricist perspective. The emiricist perspective does not need to "prove" rational thought, because it does not have a competing paradigm to measure its inclusion of rational thought against.

Once again empiricism is a communication tool to arbitrate between competing paradigms.

I'm looking for something that can be concretely proven to hold true in all instances and can be demonstrated without resorting to circular logic.
What are you even asking? Those are abstractions. They don't exist in the world apart from the objects, mental states, actions, or whatever to which they are attached. Provide evidence for "yellow". Heck, provide evidence for "evidence".

You hit it right there. Abstraction is evidence of transcendent reality.

Yeah, and we're in it, and we're very lucky to be alive.

No, abstraction is evidence that similarities between entities exist, and people can recognize them. That's all. No transcendent reality needed.
