Not to mention that many modern conservatives and liberals are devoted to bigger government and less individual and economic freedom. (There are of course plenty who do not support such intrusions). Neither political ideaology is highly devoted to freedom in all aspects of life. |

They are notorious for letter-writing campaigns and boycotting, but liberals have truly cornered the market on lashing out violently.
And pointing out that a conservative politician advocates using common sense in the name of public safety and allowing foreign terrorists to be aggressively questioned has nothing do do with how the two sides generally react to dissent. | |

Until the evidence says otherwise, I won't say otherwise. As it currently stands, liberals overwhelmingly dominate the violent, ape-like tantrum category (vandalism, shouting people down, assault, blatant violations of free speech, etc.) over conservatives by about 10 to 1.
You can smear me for paying attention to current events more than you if you want, but all that's going to do is reaffirm my observation that liberals are also crappy debators. | |
