Borat's in, Bush is out: Time magazine

I think the most important thing for a president is how he will be remembered or if he is one of those that will pass of as nothing, just another president.. Do you know what Bush is? He is both of those, he will be remembered as the most unlogical and misled president of US history. Clinton is remembered as a good US president who ****ed his intern. So what? Thats better than a retarded mass murderer who have done nothing but bringing misery on his own people and other people.

Agreed, except for the Clinton part. He'll be remembered as an ok president who ****ed an intern.

No. Clinton will be remembered as a president who lied to a grand jury, and was impeached for it.

He is influential, but after congress and the senate went to the democrats, he dont have any power anymore. He can keep lying to his own, and keep trying to sink his own ship, but now he cannot fail anymore, and good is that.

He just vetoed a bill from Congress. That's power. And yes he can fail more, he can decide to pull the troops from Iraq and let the insurgents take the place over.

Are you saying he's not influential?

No, he's just influenced. Not influencal. Taking the advice of others does not make a great man and the advice he has taken out of the advisor's circle has made him a putz. Glad to see he is recognized for what he is, a failure.

You don't think FDR took advice? Washington? Jefferson? Wilson? Lincoln?

I thought he'd be remebered as the President who engaged in an illegal war by keeping our troops in harms way longer than 60 days without an AUMF. Oh but wait he has a D infront of his name so it's o.k..

You CLEARLY dont understand hoe the US government works.
The president has a TON of power that he can exercise completely independently from Congress -- and he can keep Congress from doing about anything.

We are often told that GWB has caused half the world to hate the United States, and contiues to make mor epeople hate us every day --- even to the point where they are willing to blow themselves up on us.

That's not "influnce"?

Who on the list has more 'influence' than that?
