Bush doesn't seem particularly religious to me. Sure, he'll blather on about it to win the votes of the Christian Taliban, but does he really seem that religious to you? Which is easier to imagine: Bush reading the Bible and praying to God for wisdom, or Bush cussing and farting and telling dirty jokes?

As for him being a neocon, I don't know if you can really make that distinction between him being a neocon and members of his cabinet being neocons. He relies on those people to make his decisions for him.

He's a born again Christian evangelical, that puts him squarely in the Christian right camp.

Being a neocon and a born again Christian aren't two mutually exclusive ideas.
