I'm not one to claim the racist card but as far I'm concerned. If Katrina had hit some gated community full of soccer moms and yuppie dads somewhere in New Hampshire. There wouldn't have been that much hesitation to help people. IMO It had nothing to do with race as much as it had to do with the type of people who were in need of help.

I don't know about him but I am not implying it I am stating it. Bush did just that and i'm also saying that he did that because of the high amount of Black people there.
Funny how Jeb Bushs state "Florida" got all they wanted and needed but New Orleans is still waiting for the same help that Florida got!
~~~~~~~~
BTW: Nice picture of Ronald "ketchup is a vegetable" Reagan.
Do you think this would have happened in a middle high class neighborhood somewhere in Connecticut? How many of the victims in Katrina were poor? How many were senior citizens forgotten by this country? How many were people had no means of leaving the city? Why did they put a guy who's previous job was to judge horses to lead one of the biggest in-country aid operations in American history? Come on man. Even you can see that this would not have been allowed to happen in some rich town in nowhere America. |
I wouldn't say the greatest Pres ever but my brother and I had TONS of work when he was in office. Regan pushed for every state, city and town to put in handicap ramps in all of their buildings-schools-fire stations, librarys-town buildings-schools and our gov would pay for 85% of it. It passed and we made more money than ever before. My brother sent Regan thousands of dollars and has many picts of Regan signed by him.
Me being a little smarter than my brother kept my money and told my brother that things are going to flaten out in regans last years and it did.
TOTALLY flatened out and working Americans had to pay for the 85% our gov had to pay out for all the ramps.
So, I have my money and my brother has some nice picts of,
Ronald "ketchup is a veggie" Regan. |
To sum your post up:
1- Bush does not care about the poor people in the U.S.A.
2- Bush does not care about black people.
3- Bush cares MORE about the Iraqi people than American people AND our Troops.
4- Funny, that sounds just like most Cons too. |
And where did you get the idea that most of the losses were incurred by black people?
The failures in New Orleans where primarily the local and state government.
