China Olympic torch route ignites uproar

Funny, China's government warns against politicizing the Games, but this torch route does exactly that! Taiwan is NOT part of China. This country's government rejects that notion as do most of its people. The next battle will be over the name of Taiwan's delegation. For years, China has called us "Taipei, China" not the official "Chinese Taipei", a term which itself is facing increasing opposition here.

Well, more protests over China's support for Sudan's murderous government, the symbolizing of their illegal rule over Tibet, and their illegitimate claims to Taiwan. This will be the most politicized Olympics since 1980!

I have not called for a boycott yet, but with each game the butchers in Beijing play, I am getting closer and closer to agreeing with those calls.

When it arrives in China, it does not say Taipei (as it does with other international cities.) Rather, it simply says "China" in simplified characters. That is causing a lot of anger among many Taiwanese people.
