How to choose the best school

Choosing a best school is the precondition of studying abroad. Now I have been confused by the school choice. I think they are all good but I don’t know to choose which the best is. So I hope someone can give me some constructive suggestions. If you have other good idea, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: How to choose the best school

It really depends what you're looking for in a college. I was the same way in HS; I was obsessed with the Princeton Review rankings and the US News & World Report rankings. But the truth is, they don't really matter at all.

Go where you're happy. You can study abroad at almost any college. I'm not sure where you got the idea that choosing the best school is a precondition for studying abroad; virtually every school I know of (including some community colleges) has study abroad programs. And if you're still in high school and aren't graduating this year, you might want to see if your high school participates in any foreign exchange programs.

Go to collegeconfidential.com and then click on their discussion forums. I will say that there are a good number of douchingtons on that website. However, it is has some of the best information on colleges for a discussion forum. It is good for quick data on things for graduate schools as well. Simply put, it is the superior forum when it comes to college discussion boards. Just post the list of colleges ( or programs that you are considering) on a new thread. There will be the occasional naysayer, but most of the members provide excellent information.

Re: How to choose the best school

They're really isn't a "best" school. Much of it depends on what you want to study. MIT would be great for engineering, but probably not so hot if you decide you want to be an English Lit major.

And cost is a factor assuming you don't get a full ride scholarship somewhere. It's worth weighing in your considerations. Some schools will look great on a resumé and might give you a leg up, but where you received your education will only take you so far. Your accomplishments will matter more.

Find the ones with a good teacher.

You can tell a excellent one if they have a really cool title under their name...

Other good ideas?

Buy low, sell high.

Wear a condom on your Billo.

Instead of washing your hands after using the bathroom...

stop pizzing on your hands.

Send me cash.

And beer.
