Current Mood: | Re: Obama campaign raises $25 million I think people support Obama because he's a black man with a shot at the Presidency. I don't know enough about him to make a judgement, but this seems to me a very contemptible reason to be the mans advocate.
Its like supporting Hillary because she is female.

So why aps? | talloulou, you may be misinterpreting my post. It's more about me NOT wanting Hillary to be our nominee. There she is running around exuding confidence. It makes me want to puke. I love thinking that she thought she had this nomination in the bag until...........Obama declared his candidacy. I want her to get a serious wake-up call.
If I were to pick my favorite candidiate now, it would be Bill Richardson. I am just not sure he will be able to get the nomination. So far, I like what I see about Obama, but I need to learn more about him. |

I've read one of his books so I know he's no idiot. He's a fairly good writer and he appears to be a charismatic speaker but I'm not sure about the common sense? What leads you to believe he has common sense? Now that I don't agree with. He was very candid in his book and yet seems less so now as he campaigns. Frankly I think if he said some of the things he says in his book in public speeches he'd be less liked. Quote:
He has stopped smoking. | You can't know that! But clearly he's stated that he is trying to quit and that's cool. Quote: |

| Have you read his book!!!! He bashes the other side repeatedly! He actually says in his book that liberals base their decisions on logic while conservatives don't. Plus he constantly says crap like well liberals have a problem with this but conservatives are much worse because blah blah blah. To say he doesn't bash is naive and indicative of the fact that you haven't read the man's book which is odd.
I don't support the man and yet I've read his book. You clearly support him and yet it seems you haven't read the book. Either that or you've read the book and have an extreme case of selective memory!
How do you feel about his tendency towards socialism? |
