Weak.

Not being able to prove that God exists proves Atheism right? Nope. That sir, is a common fallacy.

Another weak counterpoint.

No, but being completely and totally unable to produce even a shred of objective evidence for the existence of *ANY* deity certainly makes atheism a lot more attractive.

The church of atheism is a fiction as much as it is an oxymoron, and holds no more sway on the matter than any other homemade website.

You can post all of the idiotic little websites you like, but nothing can change the fact that atheism has no tenets.

Are these pointless and irrelavent straw men simply in place to disguise the fact that you don't have an case?

I dare you to try to name a few philosophies of atheism.

You're one to talk about counterpoints: your last two had nothing to do with the original point.

As far as we can see, there is no way to prove God doesn't exist, nor is there a way to disprove the existence of hundreds of other imaginings and hoaxes of time. But this does not invalidate atheism.

But I must reflect on this post of yours, Aqua. It truly is a gem. Not only does it have nothing to do with the post it is replying to, but specifically, you seem to be fighting your shadow, quoting a statement I never made or even hinted at and attacking it. You've hit a new low.

That shouldn't be what moves you ANY closer to Atheism, unless you are really so dumb as to think that we would have to be able to see and comprehend a creator in order for one to exist.

Nothing randomly creates itself. There's always a source. That's why I conclude that the existence of God is beyond human comprehension, hence pointless to argue about.

Duke
1) The Church of Atheism has been on TV News broadcasts for decades before it ever had a web site.

2) I have not disputed that Atheism has no tenants. That's precisely why I didn't include it in the survey. We are here to talk about the tenants of various religions.

Comprehend it now?
