Dog Meat Is Good

Hi All,

I am in USA and talk alwasy goes around to "what do you eat" and the fact that we eat dog, cat etc (i even love mouse sausage!!). People always seem shocked and then eat their Big Mac !! which is even more disgusting and who knows what animal it really contain (or how old the meat!!).

In China all our meat is fresh kill and very healthy, no chemicals or dangerous chemicals.

Yet you in USA look at this as wrong - prefer your "white chicken breast' or factory made steaks.

Is it hypocritical to eat cow etc but complain that civet cat, dog breed for meat (black dog is best !!) is wrong ???

What about your Spam - what the hell is that !!!!

Well let me help you along a bit. We don't eat dog or cats because we don't eat our friends. SPAM is pork shoulder ground up, I hear it is very good although I have never had it. I should know better then to acknowledge your posts since they do nothing but attempt to get a rise out of people but I thought you needed to know what SPAM is.

You have to befriend dogs and cats? How socially inadequate is THAT?

My friends are all human thankfully.

Animals are a commodity, and if some people choose to find certain animals all cuddly furry, fine, but don't judge others. To imprison them as pets is as exploitative as eating them. There is really nothing wrong with either practice. We're all bound by cultural norms, and I agree with the original poster, that it's rather hypocritical to eat cows (sacred in India) and then criticize the cultural norm of another country (for example, eating dog).

Never tried it, but will try anything once. Living in the land of horse (tastier than beef) snails (divine) and frogs legs (much more tender than ckicken) I don't believe you should judge. Donkey sausages are so tasty. Years ago we'd have baulked at ostrich and kangaroo, but now they're common fayre in our supermarkets. I once tried crocodile in a restaurant in London - that was interesting.

Fried Rice is spot on - if you'll eat the crap that is a Big Mac, you've no right to criticize others.

Had a lovely Chinese take away last night Fried! I love Chinese food. As tasty as Chinese men!

Meh, people can eat what they want. And escargot and frog legs are some of my favorite foods!

Are you sure it just the shoulder - i was in Australia about 1 year ago and big outcry there as there beef pie contain camel meat - in that country camel came under definiton of beef for such use as pie. Spam looks to be all the rubbish that dropped on the floor ! I dont think this email tries to get a rise out of you !

Oh yes China takes such good care of it's poor they are sleeping in an American establishment. Perhaps you should critic your own backyard before attempting to poop in others.
