WTF Happened to MY Country?

I have a very good friend who served his country well, joined an organization that helps nations abroad, met and married his wife from the Czech Republic, and has come back home. He just told me that, after trying for a while now, that he and his wife are expecting a baby. THAT's the good news!

He then told me that she has some type of medical issue that will require special care to ensure the baby's safety. The job he has doesn't offer enough insurance/medical benefits, and the insurace companies are $crewing him with their costly demands to cover her/them. He can not afford the huge medical bills that he is faced with on his on, and he can't get any help.

So, my friend, who served his country well, as I still do, and who served as an ambassador for the U.S. abroad, returned home to find he has been abandoned! He told me that he has no other option than to return to the Czech Republic where the kind of health care she needs is free to Czech citizens. My buddy doesn't want the U.S. to pick up his entire medical tab - He just wants a little help!

But it's pretty frickin' sad when an American has to go to another country because his own country won't help him. We have 12 MILLION illegals and counting in this coutry, a large protion of them receiving FREE medical care - and we can't - WON'T - even help our own! Our frickin' politicians won't be happy until they give this whole D@MN country away, and they'll $crew every single American to do it, just as long as they get something out of it!

Your friend should look to a private charity to see if he can get help.

Of course, the liberals will tell you this is why we need universal health care -- after all, nothing would make them happier than for me to be forced to pay for his wife's health care.

Instead of Universal health care, how about getting the Insurance company lobbyists from stuffing millions in our representative's pockets and a little bit of oversight?

Or here's a great freakin' idea: How about we uphold the existing laws in thic country and start demanding companies NOT hire illegals. If there are no jobs then the illegals will stop coming here! If Alaska game officials can confiscate a man's fishing gear, his vehicle, and fine the cr@p out of him for catching & keeping 3 salmon rather than 2 or the goverment can confiscate vehicles and fine drug delaers they catch, then our goverment should be able to seize property and fine the cr@p out of companies they catch hiring illegals!

How about STOP the Liberals STOP giving away free health care, social security (a program already strained to the point of collapse trying to keep paying AMERICANS), medicare, etc at the expense of tax paying Americans.

Maybe if he had some of his tax money back that the crooks in Washington have taken to fascistly redistribute to ILLEGALS so THEY could keep getting re-elected and look after themselves then he could pay totake care of his wife/family!

Wow....easy.....there IS still hope for you. You can see the issues....but you are still missing the point.

Welcome to the United States that the Republican party has given you. A Country in which corporations get rich at the demise of the middle class. A Country in which insurance companies and drug companies line their pockets with the money of the working class and large numbers of our citizens go uninsured. A country in which insurance companies can negotiate with drug companies for lower costs, but the government cannot. A Country in which Corporations outsource American jobs in order to increase their own wealth paying third world wages....and a country in which corporations decrease living wages by hiring undocumented immigrants who will work for less.

I agree easy....WTF happened to America?....well, the answer is not that difficult....I can give you three guesses.

I am SO sick of the Politics of Personal Destruction, the Obstructionist Politics, & the BS hypocrisy! ALL of it are symptoms of the bigger problem - the disease that has affected this whole country: The BS 'Political Party 1st' attitude!

Case in point, and I only use these because they are coming to mind 1st:

Nancy Pelosi, just before being elected to her current position frickin' BRAGGED in a Time magazine interview about how here and the Democrats have engaged in Obstructionist politics, fighting any legislation the GOP had come up with, no matter how good or how bad, in order to cause frustration in America over nothing being done, resulting in Americans turning back to the Democrats. Don't get me wrong - the GOP, not use to being the majority, $crewed up royaly - but Pelosi bragged how she and her party intentionally put the Democratic Party ABOVE the country they were elected to serve - ALL for personal and party benefit! Even their last campaign echoed/supported what she said in that articel: Time for a change! They didn't offer any ideas - they just finished off what their Obstructionist Politics had been working towards for years!

Then there's the freakin' hypocrisy: Pelos called the GOP the 'cultrue of corruption' or something like that, then she promised to run the cleanest/most honest congress in history. the words weren't even off her lips 5 minutes before she nominates the star of the FBI's ABSCAM Scandal tapes (a guy who in those tapes said he was not willing to take a bribe YET but would consider it inthe future) and a judge who had been CONVICTED of multile charges, including perjury, to positions of power. The Democrats also attacked a GOP, demanding that the perv who wrote disgusting things to under-aged pages, step down [which I agree should have happened]; YET, these same Democrats allowed one of their own, years earlier, who had had SEX with under-aged pages not only remain in office but NOT face criminal charges!

So, don't give me this "Welcome to the Democratic Party, We hate the GOP, and it's all Bush's & the GOP's fault'" speech! THAT is CR@P! If we can't even get the people being $crewed to stop drinking the coolade and realize that corruprion and garbage is going-on on both sides of the aisle then this country is lost because, as painfully evident anymore, they will NOT police themselves and make things right once again! Right now the goverment is infected with 'Me/Party 1st', and where we ALL need to be is 'America 1st'!

When dealing with the illegal situation, the leftists in this country have already provided us the solution. They are just trying to use it on our troops rather than with regards to illegal aliens. If we were to cut off funding for illegals ( make it illegal to employ illegals and enforce it, no free emergency room visits, no voting rights, etc...) maybe they would stop coming over. They come to America for the prosperity our country can offer. If we deny them access to that prosperity, prehaps it would stem the flow.

You're partially correct about the politicians putting the illegal immigration problem on the military, if you are talking about the Natl. Guard troops on the Border.

But what about what you are NOT being allowed to hear? Dirty/corrupt Mexican military have escorted drug dealers across the border and onto our soil on numerous occassions recently. On several of those our Border Patrol AND our own military have been fired upon - ACTS OF WAR! Yet, the Border patrol and our military are NOT allowed to fight back. Personally, if I was the governor in charge of the National Guard troops protecting the border, I would have called in an air strike in their defense, wiping out any and all Mexicans - including any of their military - on our side of the border. This would definitely have caused an International Incident and the news of Mexico's invasion and acts of war against this country would HAVE to be reported - Americans would be forced to wake up to the truth!

The congress - both parties - have voted to put up a wall, but they refuse to fund it. They put the military on the border but refuse them the authority to use force, EVEN in their own defense. Border patrol agents who fire on fleeing drug dealers are not defended. Instead, OUR goverment sends agents to track down the dealer and give him immunity if he comes back abd testifies against the Americans who are trying to protect our borders. While waiting on the trial to begin, this same drug dealer is caught making another big drug run but is released because he was granted Immunity and the Fed Govt could not have their lead witness in jail on drug running charges. Those Border Patrol agents are now in jail, where one recently was beaten up badly by criminals including illegal immigrants in that same jail - the drug dealer is free and probably planning his next run across our border! The Mexican goverment has filed lawsuits on behalf of illegals criminally trespassing across private US property to illegally get into this country because they were threatened at gun point to vacate the property or hurt themselves while making the illegal crossing. Several of these resulted in US Federal courts upholding the decision and their execution of American properties being seized and turned over to the Mexican goverment. To my knowledge, only 1 - ONE - of these was over-turned when taken up to a higher US court of appeals! Meanewhile the reports of Mexican brutality in dealing with the handling and preventing of illegals coming into THEIR country from their southern border is out there! The Mexican goverment is handing out THOUSANDS of GPS equipment and providing them with Intel on OUR Border Patrol and troop movement in order to assist the illegals get across our border, yet we are constantly told that Mexico is in this immigration progress with us, trying to stop it! (WHY is this invasion being allowed? Why haven't we cut off all Funding to Mexico until they SERIOUSLY deal with this problem?)

Here's the thing, who's in charge today? Oh right, a "conservative" republican. Who is advocating for illegal immigrants? Oh right again, the same "conservative" republican. Who refuses to secure our border with an actual border long wall? The same pathetic "conservative" republican. So can we dispense with the liberal bull****?
