According to that website, Trinity United Church of Christ appears to be a black separatist congregation, deliberately segregating itself from the larger community. Notice that there's no commitment in that church community to the larger community, only to the black community.

"Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic

8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System."

Sure sounds like it to me, replace the word black with the word white and that church sounds akin to Aryan Nations.

I really have my doubts about Hussein Obama and these Liberals are eating this guy up........

It will be to late if this clown gets elected somehow although I don't see himm carrying one state in the south.......

Just a quick question. Do you normally call people by their middle names or are you trying to establish a link between Barack and Saddam? Just curious because you seem to call everyone else by their First name. I haven't seen you yet refer to Bush as Walker Bush.

He was generally referred to as Bush Jr even though he was not a Jr or Shrub by the likes of Molly Ivans, and I can think of some more invectives used by the left.

That's why I watch the evil fox news it was on H&C tonight and the man who caught this little tid bit, is an African American himself. That's because it WAS racist the way you phrased it.

"White pride" organizations that aren't racist simply do not exist.

"Black pride" organizations can mean a wide variety of things...anything from truly racist organizations, to organizations committed to eliminating racism, to organizations committed to helping Africa, to organizations merely interested in celebrating their culture.

Double standard? Deal with it. "White pride" has a very specific meaning in our society, and it's not a good thing.
