It is good to remember that for all the ill we have done over there, that our soldiers are good people who believe in their mission and are trying to help the Iraqi people. We have also done a lot of good, and the matter of whether we have done more good or ill-- whether we have made the world a better place or not-- is still unresolved and still within our power to influence.

Maybe it was the ones shooting at our troops who were at the time trying to sort out the insurgents from the civilians...

People cant build IED's or kill each other at the market without the US getting in the way...
