| Re: Russia's Putin, India call for 'weapons free' space Those who call for a 'Weapons free' outer space are generally the ones who are overtly spending enormous amounts of money developing exactly what the publicly decry.
India, Russia, Us, China, Japan, EU, France are all in the process of outer space weapons development.
Was the US able to trust declarations of innocence by the Russians / Chinese during the 'Cold war'?, conversely did the Russians / Chinese believe the declarations made by the US?
The answer, obviously is no.
If the various nations were unable to trusts each other then, what gives you the idea they are more trustworthy now?
Space weapons are already a fact, they have already been deployed in space, they have already been tested.
I would say to all who would wish for mankind to be rid of constant warring on each other to frow up, man is instinctively a killer species.
Unfortunately, unlike most species which kill for food, territory, sex, man also kills for idealogical reasons. |
