Democrat Culture of Curruption Continues

Jefferson was reelected. Amazing.

Mollohan under intense investigation inline to head the sub-committee that oversees the Justice Department. Amazing.

So...If these are "Amazing" situations in your mind.....what adjective would you use to describe the last four years of Republican Scandal?

I'm going with "inconceivable".

Well I have been pretty clear, those where the evidence shows they were involved in wrong doing..........good riddence and don't come back. Just as the Republicans have said.

So how about the Dems and thier culture of corruption, what do they say about theirs........congradulations on being relected.

Point taken and oh so true.

I can't get the rumble for Obama. What exactly has he done? Ever?

Ted Kennedy and his little bridge accident hasn't stopped him from being voted back into office every term since.

John Kerry is hot to focus on GWB's miss-speaks but doesn't ever apologize or acknowledge his own let alone Tereza's.

It makes no sense that the supposed "intellectual" party doesn't acknowledge all the faus pas that thier own party makes. Actually, it speaks volumes about the maturity of that party. If they ignore it it isn't true.

Look up Nancy Pelosi's misgivings (vineyard, restaurants, no unions) then look at the platform she has been re-elected on. She is such a liar, but democrats don't look into their own. And when Nancy Pelosi's misgivings get brought to a media that noone can avoid, she'll get hers. Not to the same extent she would if she were a Republican.....there will be excuses flying around that will compete with the excuses flown around Bill Clinton and his inability to define the word "is".

Re: Democrat Culture of Curruption Continues

Even though he has not been charged with anything or indicted, Pelosi STILL took the unprecendeted move of stripping him of his influental post on the Ways and Means committee back in June. A total 18o from what the Republicans do, namely changing the rules to reward their leaders who ARE criminally indicted.

But now that he has been relected and she kept Mollohan in his position Jefferson has a claim on his chair again. She has another quandry.

They didn't change the rule, Delay resigned his committe chairmanship. The Dems refuse to inact the same rule on themselves, even after they promised to do so. So who holds the higher ethical ground?

She sure does. Since not only did she strip him of his committee assignment, they didnt spend a dime on his campaign, they clearly want nothing to do with him. Yet he still hasnt been charged with anything so it presents a problem for her. If I were her I would consider refusing to seat him, but that would be a tough thing to do (refuse to seat a legitimately elected congressman because of ALLEGATIONS against him). But c/mon. At the end of the day, 90 thousand dolalrs stuffed in your freezer is 90 thousand dolalrs stuffed in your freezer.

They sure did. Then were forced to change it back after public pressure. But when we talk of who has the "higher ethical ground" you must be joking. The 109th congress was the most corrupt in modern history. Duke Cunningham, Mark Foley, Tom Delay, Bob Ney, all resigning in dsigrace after being crinimally indicted or convicted. THE Abramoff scandal that is STILL unfolding. The width and breadth of their corruption is jaw dropping.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Sorry I'm still laughing at Stinger trying to argue that Republicans hold the higher moral ground. Rational Republicans agree that their party has been led astray for a while now, and yet you continue to pick out the examples of Democrat corruption and use them as the whole, whereas Republicans corruption IS the whole of that party.

Skip,

What are you moderate about? Just wondering given your side-bar thing.

What rational Republicans have been led astray for "a while now"? The "corrupt" republicans seem to step down or resign. The "corrupt" Demoncrats are still sitting in congress because those who cannot think for themselves in this country tend to ignore their corruptness while yelling "bad republican" all the way to the voting booth. Perfect example is that Robert Byrd still sits in favor of the democrat party and Trent Lott gets in trouble at Strom Thurmans expense.

This is what I don't get. Gung-ho "democrats" who stand so high and mighty against anything resembling republican beliefs, yet don't even care to KNOW what their own party is full of. And SHOULD their little party get outed...there's always a "civil right" excuse following close behind.

Nancy Pelosi. Speaker of the House. Vineyard. Restaurant. Golf Course. Illegals. Unions. Look it up yourself. IF she weren't a democrat CNN, MSNBC, the NYT, the LA Times, etc., would not have let y'all been so clueless about her for so long.
