    Does it not kick ass?

Edit: had to look up the stats but I made matching ebony swords (elite since I am now 100 smith -no perks though) for Lydia that are 23 regular damage and then absorb 31 health, one burns the other freezes for 39 damage. I also got her chest piece and her shield rocking too.

    Re: Elders Scroll V: Skyrim

I married Aela, the Huntress today, and as soon as the priest pronounced us man and wife, she hauled ass, and I have yet to find her. She didn't show up at my house in Breezehome, and she is nowhere to be found in Javasskar. So much for the honeymoon. I couldn't get Lydia to notice me, but every woman in the province was after me while I was wearing that Amulet of Mara. Of course, you have to do things for them, and then they want to marry you, just so they can disappear on you at the altar. Talk about being jilted.

I played around with a few other saved games and told several women I'd marry them. When I showed up for marriage so did everybody else. The next thing it came up that the marriage had failed, and they kicked me out of the temple. You can't be a bigamist in the game. I notice all the men in Javasskar are gay and want to marry you, too. This game is way too politically correct.

I went from 26 to 30 in like 15 min of distracted casting. Illusion went from like 18 to 69. Boggled my brain. Also, I went from 4-7 killing a single giant because I got high up on a mountain, and was able to launch arrows in teh dark at him. "Sneak Increase... Sneak Increase..."

    Kinda amusing really.

You can raise illusion trivially by casting Courage. It does not agro any NPC and always increases skill.

I do not even think I have cast 1 spell from the illusion school, it has been neglected despite being full on mage. I should probably play around with it some just to see, but I have not really seen much of a need, what I am doing seems to work just fine.

They really botched some of the schools of magic.

Illusion has no chameleon magic anymore, just invisibility.
    Conjuration has 4 summon spells.
    Kinda pissed about that.

Over all, while the game is entertaining, I'm still somewhat disappointed in many things that they changed.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

Muffle and Invis are the two useful ones.

Oddly though, Illusion is easier to raise skill in, especially at higher levels. I don't recommend it, but you could easily get illusion to 100 within a couple hours of starting the game. If you are shooting for the level cap, you kinda don't want to push many skills to max while totally ignoring the others.

    Finally got Skyrim...

And all I can say is...

    FUS RO DAH!

(one of the best games to date, still glitchy but I'm sure it'll get sorted)
