Xbox One with Kinect Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle

Its a decent deal. Even if you have no use for the kinect its still cheaper than a plain xbox and the price of the games.

Last Christmas my folks got me an Xbox One with Kinect that came with three games at the same price as the current bundle Iirc.

If you like Assassin's Creed, this is a very solid deal. Although I'm told AC works better on the Playstation 4

Assasins creed unity is awful, I suggest you don't go for it.

Overall, don't go for consoles. Get a PC.
Don't be dirty console peasant.

Kinect is awesome if you have (or expect that in the next ten years or so you'll have) young kids in the house.

My boy was probably six before he was able to handle an Xbox controller, he was playing Kinect games (with my help) at four and a half or so (about the same time he was able to handle a Wii controller).

When I bought the Xbox 360, or the Wii for that matter, the idea that my son would some day be playing them was the last thing on my mind.

I've found, though, that if you're able to re-purpose the old console as your son's/grandson's/nephew's it makes it a whole lot easier to convince the wife that you need "the next big thing".

Just some food for thought...

I was thinking of my son, he likes Xbox. If I play a game (seldom) I play PC games.

Don't get him an xbox or any console. Show him the ways of the PC and let him ascend into the glorious ranks of the PC master race.

I wasn't serious considering it most likely, since he is grown and can save up for himself. I just wanted to know about it.

I like the Forza series of race games. Between that, a few sport games, and the Grand Theft Auto series that is about the only reason I have a console.

I'd poke around and make sure the console version works better than the PC version.

At release, the PC version... basically wasn't functional. Single player you'd randomly fall through the world, or get stuck forever in hay piles. Multiplayer? Didn't work. Just straight up wasn't playable.
