Anyway, I plan on getting Skyrim for the PC soon. Can anyone recommend any good mods to me? I've already watched quite a few videos about Skyrim mods, but I figured there might be someone around here that'd come across something the youtubers didn't cover. I already know what I'm looking for and where to find most of it, but there's a few things on my list that I don't know where to look for. They are as follows:

Housing- three decent homes for my character, one for each of the archetypes I usually model my experience after. I'd like something sinister, something Nordic and traditional, and something magical. I'll leave the interpretation of that to you guys.

NPCs- any interesting followers or villagers. If there's a mod to gather people to my home, like a group of guards, that would be awesome. Maybe a mod to build my own village?

Misc.- economics is a really big interest to me. if anybody knows about a mod that causes prices to fluctuate from season to season and place to place, that would be awesome. Also, more spells would be really good. I remember watching something about a mod that let you disguise yourself as a member of an unjoinable faction if you wore their complete outfit, such as the Forsworn, the Morag Tong, or bandits, but I can't remember what it was called or who made it.

Houses are easy. There was a regular DLC for that. Not sure for the other stuff but the vanilla version of the game should be enough to keep you occupied for a while

Note that I said the PC version of Skyrim. I've been playing Skyrim on the Xbox 360 for years, along with all three DLCs. It's modding that I'm late to the party on.

I don't play Skyrim anymore. I breezed through the game...completed it fairly quickly...before mods became a big thing. But I have to say that, at a minimum, a good map mod with all the roads, trails, etc. is essential. It really is a bitch, sometimes, trying to find your way around.

Screw roads! I prefer mountain climbing.

You might also want to look into a mod to beef up Alduin (the game's main boss) a bit. As is, he's kind of a let down.
